Comfortable, sharp, and great for smaller hands or light pruning jobs

These pruning shears are very sharp and are made of a sturdy material. These are good for smaller limbs. They have two settings which can be used for smaller or larger hands. Be aware; however, that if you adjust them for smaller hands so the handles are closer together, the blades are also closer together rather than being fully open. My advice for slightly larger branches if you have short fingers is to use both hands if necessary so the blade will easily fit around the branch.

My husband has his own landscaping business and cannot have enough pruning shears on his truck. These are great for him to prune clients Rose bushes or other tender landscaping. They are very sharp and have a good adjustment for open/closed hand use. He loves these.

These garden pruning shears are well designed and show an excellent quality of construction. They seem durable and like they will last at least a couple of seasons. I love that they have two settings for hand size that are about an inch difference. So many tools seem to be designed for “large men’s hands”. I have small hands, and the “small hands” setting on these pruning shears for how wide the handles open is perfect. The locking feature is particularly nice: it is made with a large tab on the handle so that it is easy to lock and unlock just with the thumb. Overall they have a good heft and balance and are sharp enough to easily cut through rose and blackberry canes and to prune small branches. The texture on the handles has a nice feel to the touch, which is good for when I am not wearing gloves when gardening. And the bright lime green color means that they are easy to find in the garden. I particularly like that they have a loop opening on the handle with a wrist strap attached through them. While I doubt that I will ever carry these by the wrist strap, I can easily see myself putting a carabiner clip on them so that they can be easily clipped onto my garden cart or tote bag for convenience. I’m very impressed and consider these shears an excellent value. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Yep, they are sharp and adjustable to fit most hand sizes, although I could use a little bit smaller grip. Easy to use and at a fair price. You just had to watch out for the spring section in the middle of the handle. This can catch and pinch the fat of you hand if you are choked up on the grip.
